PROVIDENCE PARKS
Web Design · UX/UI
I was tasked to redesign the Providence Parks site, and make it more user friendly to the public. I was asked to maintain the same colors, fonts, and overall keep a similar feel. I LOVE redesigns, so I welcomed this project.
To begin, the site was not easy to navigate and obtain information, particularly for someone who is not tech savvy. I chose to reduce the amount of time and number of clicks needed by the user to access their desired information. In this case, their desired park. I designed a more simplistic and airy layout, with clear and bright navigation buttons to draw the eye. I included images with clear titles, so the user knew exactly what they were looking at, without having to click through many pages. I included a Google map on every park page which would allow the user to get the address into their system with the click of a button. Users could later access it with Google’s history features across the map app on mobile and desktop.
I find Redesigns can be both challenging and fun. While the goal is to improve ease of use, refreshing their current brand is a balance I enjoy. This site is now easier to use, and can be accessed by going to sofiafelix.com/pvdparks.

MATT ERICKSON ELECTRICIAN
In this project I was asked to create a logo and branding package for a friend who started a new business. This project then grew to include apparel, car wraps, stickers, invoices, and a mock website for future use.
