RIVERVIEW

Kiosk Design · UX/UI · Logo · Branding

In this project I was tasked with designing a kiosk interface for a fictional hotel. I needed to create multiple user flows for a new user and returning user. I wanted users to be able to use this kiosk to order essentials, room service, and schedule housekeeping services. This concept requires a small iPad in every room for the guest to use, and was modeled for a persona of a nurse staying in a hotel while working in a covid ward that wanted to limit his contact with hotel staff.

I was inspired by a hotel I recently stayed in, and considered my experiences there. It was very small, and only had one front desk person who was responsible for taking orders for room service, scheduling housekeeping, and all other guest needs. Naturally, it was very difficult to get a hold of them, as the phone was constantly busy.

The idea was to allow the user to schedule deliveries and services during times they were away to reduce the likelihood of contact. This app could also be used for typical guests who would like deliveries while they are at the hotel.

In this project I was asked to create a logo and branding package for a friend who started a new business. This project then grew to include apparel, car wraps, stickers, invoices, and a mock website for future use.
