For this project I was asked to create a desktop and mobile friendly site for a small boutique hotel of my choice. In addition to the site, I was required to create a custom app for the guests of said hotel. I love branding and working in XD, so I was very excited when assigned this project.

I decided to create a little hotel in Lisbon, Portugal called, “Villa Luzia.” I conducted a lot of research in order to gather inspiration and grasp how hotels display information. I then moved onto mood boards and sketching, which then allowed me to move my designs into XD and create working prototypes.

This app features a built in map, mobile room service ordering, a touch-less room key, an easy checkout function, as well as an easy to access directory of all numbers related to the hotel. Overall, this site received positive feedback.
